IA School of Management Studies (IASMS) is committed to providing a congenial and conducive atmosphere in which students, teachers and non-teaching staff can work together in an environment free of violence, harassment, exploitation, and intimidation. This includes all forms of gender violence, sexual harassment, and discrimination on the basis of gender. Every member is expected to know the commitment to freedom of expression and association. It strongly supports gender equality and opposes gender discrimination and violence.

IASMS has formed the following committee to combat violence and sexual harassment against women on campus. This is in accordance with the Supreme Court of India’s judgments. Following the guidelines set forth by Bangalore University recognized as one of the top universities for MBA, AICTE rules, and UGC circulars.

The Committee is entrusted with responsibility for all cases of violence, sexual harassment and gender discrimination against women. It recommends suitable action under relevant laws.    

A complaint of discrimination or sexual harassment may be lodged by the victim or a third party at [email protected]. A written complaint may be addressed to the Presiding Officer of the Committee / or the Committee.
