The endeavors of the institution to foster a conducive culture of social responsibility is reflected in the myriad of activities that are initiated at the institution level by IAGI and at the MBA colleges in the Bangalore level, steered by IA School of Management Studies (IASMS).
The recent pandemic has taught us a lesson that “we are all in this together”. There is a strong need to create socially responsible individuals who are sensitive to the challenges and difficulties facing mankind. The Planning Commission too has recommended “fostering social responsivity” as an integral part of Higher education. It is in this context social responsibility is an essential goal that is to be pursued along with delivering quality education to management graduates. Indian Academy Group of Institutions (IAGI) is strongly committed to improving its engagement with the community and reinforcing the value of social responsibility amongst its students as well. The products of such educational institutions would not only focus on advancing their professional opportunities, but also act as good citizens and contribute toward creating a better world.
To achieve this goal and develop such standards in all stakeholders, IAGI has evolved a strategy for Institutional Social Responsibility at Institutional level and the same values are embedded at IA School of Management Studies. With the convergence of ISR and CSR, there is a sincere effort to channelize the efforts of all stakeholders including management, employees and students towards betterment of society and the well-being of deserving individuals in the community.
Evolving a structured and focused approach towards school adoption. The initiative is steered by a monitoring committee. BBMP Schools adopted by IA School of Management studies includes:
