NSS School Transformation Project @ Lingarajapuram Government School Makeover

Transforming Spaces, Touching Lives : Watch how students from IA School of Management Studies and Indian Academy College of Nursing came together to transform the Government Primary School in Lingarajapuram as part of a 10-day NSS community development project.

Guided by the vision of Dr. T. Somasekhar, Chairman of Indian Academy Education Trust, and supported by the Bangalore Rotaract Club, this initiative turned a dull and neglected school environment into a vibrant, colorful, and inspiring space for young learners.

From scrubbing, cleaning, and painting to creating educational murals and motivational quotes, our dedicated NSS volunteers infused life into the school premises—proving that small actions can create lasting impact.

A special thanks to Dr. Reena Shayam, Director of IA School of Management Studies, Prof.Shamala Principal of IA School of Management and coordinators Prof. Afzal Basha and Dr. Madhavi Latha, NSS Programme Officer, for their leadership throughout the project.
