Paper Trails and Industrial Tales: IASMS Expedition to Eco Paper India Pvt. Ltd

In an enlightening expedition that blended academic curiosity with industrial pragmatism, IA School of Management Studies orchestrated a meticulously planned industrial visit to Eco Paper India Pvt. Ltd., nestled in the verdant industrial expanse of Jigani, Bengaluru

This was no mere excursion. It was an immersive encounter with the fascinating alchemy of sustainability and enterprise where waste metamorphoses into wealth, and discarded fibres are transfigured into finely crafted paper products.

As students navigated the humming corridors of production units, they witnessed first-hand the elegant choreography of machines and manpower working in synchrony to create eco-conscious commodities.

From the intricate pulping processes to the nuanced stages of drying, calendaring, and finishing, students gleaned invaluable insights into the operational efficiencies, supply chain dynamics, and environmentally sustainable practices that underscore the paper industry today. It was, in essence, a practical masterclass in green entrepreneurship and industrial responsibility.

Moreover, the visit subtly underscored the evolving paradigms of modern business where profit no longer stands divorced from purpose, and where ecological mindfulness is not an afterthought but a foundational ethos. Faculty Coordinators  – Dr. Kruparani MC & Dr. Siji.

The IASMS industrial visit, thus, was not merely a lesson in paper production; it was a deeper meditation on innovation, sustainability, and the enduring value of experiential learning. As our students return, minds enriched and perspectives broadened, they carry with them not just facts and figures, but stories of industry, ingenuity, and inspiration.
