Students who wish to raise a concern or grievance can do so through the online Grievance Redressal Portal available at:
https://indianacademy.edugrievance.com
Access to the portal is provided through each student’s official email ID and a unique password. Once a grievance is submitted, the committee reviews, addresses, and resolves the issue promptly, with updates reflected on the portal for transparency.
In line with the guidelines issued by the Government and the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Notification No. F-16/2009(CPP-II) dated 21-10-2009 on curbing ragging in higher educational institutions, the IA School of Management Studies (IASMS) maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward ragging.
The Anti-Ragging Cell, established in 2016, is dedicated to preventing, prohibiting, and eliminating any form of ragging within the campus. The cell ensures that students study in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. Ragging is recognized as a serious criminal offense by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, and IASMS has been successful in maintaining a ragging-free campus through continuous vigilance and awareness initiatives.
Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) form two historically disadvantaged groups within Indian society, recognized under Articles 341 and 342 of the Indian Constitution. Together, they represent more than one-fifth of the country’s population.
The primary objective of providing reservations for these communities extends beyond employment opportunities and representation. It aims to enhance their social and educational status, ensuring equal participation and access to opportunities in all spheres.
In alignment with the UGC’s directive to establish SC/ST Cells in colleges and universities, the IA School of Management Studies (IASMS) set up its SC/ST Cell in 2018. The Cell ensures the effective implementation of reservation policies in admissions and recruitment, while also facilitating financial assistance from government agencies and other sources.
Furthermore, the Cell actively encourages students from these communities to participate in career orientation programs, helping them build essential skills, gain confidence, and make informed career choices.
The IA School of Management Studies (IASMS) has constituted an Internal Examination Grievance Redressal Committee to facilitate effective communication between students and faculty in all matters related to continuous evaluation and examinations.
The purpose of this committee is to foster a sense of accountability among students during examinations and to ensure transparency and fairness in all internal assessment processes.
