Documents required for MBA Admission

For MBA Admission

  • 10th Marksheet
  • 12th Marksheet
  • Graduation Marksheet
  • Provisional Degree Certificate / Degree Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate (applicable for students other than Bengaluru North University)
  • For Management Quota: KMAT / MAT / CMAT scorecard (original) For PGCET Quota: Original admission allotment letter and fee paid receipt from Karnataka Examination Authority
  • For SC/ST/OBC Students: Caste and Income Certificates issued by the Government of Karnataka (for scholarship eligibility)
  • 5 passport-size photographs

Eligibility Criteria

  • The minimum requirement for admission to the program is a 3- or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or Its Equivalent in any discipline from a recognized Indian or Foreign University with a minimum of 50% marks. Relaxation applies to SC/ST Candidates.
  • For those candidates who will be appearing in the final part of their degree examination, an offer of admission will be provisional. It will be automatically canceled in the event of their failing to submit the degree result before the batch start date.
  • In addition to the eligibility for an MBA degree, the candidate should possess a decent score in any of the entrance examinations such as PGCET, KMAT, MAT, CAT, and XAT.

Scholarship

National Scholarship Portal (NSP)

Students belonging to minority communities: Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains, are eligible to apply for scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal at: http://scholarships.gov.in

Required Documents:

  • Photocopy of Caste Certificate (issued within the last 5 years)
  • Photocopy of Income Certificate (should mention both student and parent names)
  • Bonafide Certificate from the institution
  • Photocopy of the previous year’s marks cards
  • Current semester fee receipt
  • Photocopy of Bank Passbook (account must be in the student’s name)
  • Photocopy of Aadhaar Card

State Scholarship Portal (SSP)

(Students who apply under NSP are also required to re-register in SSP)

Students belonging to SC, ST, Minority (NSP), Brahmin (EWS), Backward Classes (OBC), and Differently Abled categories can apply for scholarships through the State Scholarship Portal at:
http://ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in

Required Documents:

  • Photocopy of Aadhaar Card
  • Photocopy of Parents’/Guardian’s Aadhaar Card
  • Bonafide Certificate from the institution
  • Photocopy of previous year’s marks cards
  • Photocopy of current semester fee receipt

Fee Regulation

  • All students (National and International) are required to adhere to the prescribed fee structure applicable at the time of MBA admission.
  • The fee structure, once accepted and confirmed, will be considered final.
  • Students must pay their fees within the specified deadline to avoid late payment penalties.
  • Fees for each semester are to be paid at the beginning of the semester.
  • Students admitted after the commencement of the academic year must clear fees for the preceding months at the time of enrolment.

Refund Policy

If a student chooses to withdraw from the MBA program, the refund of tuition fees will be processed as per the UGC Notification (October 2018) under the following four-tier system:

Notes:

  • The above refund percentages apply only to tuition fees, not to caution deposits or any other charges.
  • In case of a 100% refund, the institution will deduct 10% of the aggregate fees as processing charges.
  • The refund policy is subject to revision as per updated UGC guidelines, without prior notice.
