Farewell 2025: Turning Goodbyes into New Beginnings
The Farewell 2025 event at IASMS was held with great warmth and enthusiasm on the 17th of July at the Multipurpose Hall, marking a poignant yet celebratory moment in the lives of the graduating students. Organized under the able guidance of faculty coordinators Dr. Siji K and Prof. Afzal Basha, the event provided a perfect blend of nostalgia, recognition, and celebration. The atmosphere was electric as juniors, faculty, and staff came together to honour the achievements and journeys of the outgoing batch.
The programme commenced with an invocation song, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of the path ahead for the graduates. Emcees Mr. Joseph and Ms. Bhoomika seamlessly carried the audience through the event, keeping spirits high and engagement lively. A warm welcome speech by Ms. Harshita set the tone for the day, followed by thoughtful addresses from Mr. Bimal Nair, Strategic Director, and Dr. Reena Shyam, Director of IASMS. Their speeches resonated with wisdom, encouragement, and sincere appreciation for the graduating cohort.
A vibrant cultural segment added colour and energy to the farewell. Students showcased their talents through music, dance, and interactive games that celebrated the diverse spirit of IASMS. Outgoing students too took the stage, sharing heartfelt memories and gratitude, which created many emotional and memorable moments for everyone present. It was a space where laughter, tears, and applause came together in harmony.
A touching highlight of the event was the presentation of mementos by the juniors to their seniors. These tokens symbolized gratitude, friendship, and the emotional bond formed over the years. This gesture further deepened the connection between batches, reinforcing the core values of mutual respect and support that define the IASMS community.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to all who contributed to the event’s success: faculty, students, staff, and the management. Farewell 2025 was not just a goodbye, but a celebration of growth, shared memories, and lifelong bonds.
IASMS takes pride in bidding farewell to its students not with a goodbye, but with a heartfelt “until we meet again.”
