IA Students Make Headlines: Lingarajpuram School NSS Project Featured in the News!

We are proud to share that the incredible efforts of our NSS Volunteers from IA School of Management Studies and Indian Academy College of Nursing have been recognized and featured in the media!

As part of a heartfelt community initiative, our students transformed the Government Primary School in Lingarajpuram through a 10-day NSS project. With the guidance and motivation of Dr. T. Somasekhar, Chairman of Indian Academy Education Trust, the students engaged in scrubbing, cleaning, and painting—completely revitalizing the school premises.

What once was a worn-out space now radiates color, inspiration, and positivity. The vibrant wall art filled with educational messages, motivational quotes, and creative illustrations has made the school environment more engaging and joyful for its young learners.

This impactful initiative, supported by the Bangalore Rotaract Club, not only won appreciation from the local community and school staff but also became a powerful symbol of compassion, creativity, and teamwork.

Every wall tells a story—of student dedication, social responsibility, and the belief that small acts can lead to big changes.

The entire event, from planning to execution, was guided and supported by Dr. Reena Shayam, Director of IA School of Management Studies. The event was coordinated by Prof. Afzal Basha and Dr. Madhavi Latha, NSS Programme Officer.

Congratulations to all the NSS volunteers who made this transformation possible. Your work is a true reflection of the Indian Academy Group’s commitment to community service and nation-building.
