Internships are a core component of the experiential learning framework facilitated by the Centre for Industry Partnership (CIP), enabling students to translate academic learning into real-world application. Through structured internship opportunities, students gain meaningful exposure to industry environments and live projects.
Students undertake internships ranging from 3 to 6 months with organizations aligned to their interests and career goals, supported by the Centre to ensure relevance and quality of experience.
For those interested in entrepreneurship or research-first careers, IASMS offers a Deferred Career Engagement Policy. This allows students to delay recruitment for up to six months and join industry cohorts with the next batch. The result is a safe environment that allows for experimentation with business ideas while maintaining access to formal career pathways.
Through these initiatives, the Centre for Industry Partnership provides a seamless bridge between the classroom and the boardroom, instilling graduates with confidence, adaptability, and lifelong employability.
